Date:TBA
Time: 9:00 to 4:00 Instructor: Helen Maslowski Cost: $42 includes GST You will learn a technique for making a bargello like table runner using only one fabric. The technique can be easily modified to make larger pieces. You will have enough time to piece and quilt your table runner. If you want to make a larger table runner, make sure you get gradated fabric that runs the length of fabric. |
Fabric:
For a 16” x 44” inch table runner where the gradation runs the width of fabric, you will need:
- ¾ of a yard of fabric
- 1 yard for backing
- 20” x 40” of batting
- 1/3 yard for binding
If you want to make a longer runner (16” x 60”), you must get fabric where the gradation runs on the length of fabric.
Supplies:
- cutting mat and rotary cutter
- long ruler
- marking pencil
- matching thread
- sewing machine and relevant feet (1/4” and free motion)
