Preparing your quilt for a long arm machine
Digital Pantographs - The Covid-19 pandemic forced us to work differently in many ways. Coming into the studio to choose a quilting pattern, threads, batting and backing had not been an option for much of the time. We posted a gallery of available patterns and some people have found it useful even after we seem to have weathered the main crisis. We are trying to maintain that for those who want to preview patterns before coming into the studio. After upgrading our system we have a bunch of new patterns available.

Binding
- For hand finishing we sew your binding from your fabric and stitch to the front of your quilt with mitered corners ready for your hand finishing - $0.08 per inch
- We can also make the binding from your fabric, stitch to the front of you quilt with metered corners and hand stitch your binding around the perimeter of your quilt - $0.17 per inch.
- For a machine binding we sew a double binding of your fabric on the back of the quilt and machine finish it to the front -$0.14 per inch.
Basting
- To stabilize a quilt sandwich for hand or machine quilting, I will sew a basting stitch across the quilt sandwich every 4 inches. I supply the thread - $0.01/sq in.
