The Manitoba Prairie Quilters sponsored quilt show, Quilt Reflections 2016 is happening April 8-10 (see poster that we posted earlier on this page). We are going to be participating and also helping with set up the day before and will therefore be closed from April 7-10. See you at the show!
I've started on the companion piece to the spiderman disappearing nine patch that I've recently completed. Two boys in the family. Even though they share quite well, they each get a quilt.
This is the pattern I used to quilt that lovely piece. I think it really shows well on the backing fabric..
I recently finished quilting this lovely piece for a local quilter. I was blown away by the colour choices and the quality of the piecing. What a magnificent quilt!
It's been very "springish" lately. This morning we woke up to this gorgeous scene. The creek, which just opened up a few days ago, burbling through the snow swathed landscape. The sun is out now and everything is bright and crisp and new. A good day for quilting!
This spiderman themed disappearing nine patch is almost ready to be loaded on the frame for quilting. I'm using a light blue flannelette for the backing.
