It looks as if the requirement for face masks is going to be with us for a while. This is just to let you know we have a small quantity of supplies for making your custom masks including:
Ever have the feeling you were totally DONE with something? Sure hope we don'[ need this sign again.
Continuing with the THREAD thread, we've posted our current thread price list: http://www.cedarhousequilting.ca/notions.html
Wow, we've received so many messages of condolence on the loss of our little greeter. Seems many quilters understand the connection with a pet. The empathy and understanding truly helps, so thank you all.
When you are able to visit again the greetings may be somewhat less enthusiastic, but nonetheless heartfelt. We ARE hoping to have some good news soon on slowly reopening stores for non-essential sales.
Not much new to report. We remain in good health and (mostly) good spirits. The Province is requiring us to remain closed to in store shopping for at least another two weeks.
The "door side" pick up / drop off procedures seem to be working and will continue in effect. You can contact Helen by phone, text, or email. Still no rentals, of course.
It's beginning to feel that there might be some light at the end of this long dark winter and not just that the days are getting longer. Still, there are too many people getting ill. We can't let our guard down yet. Please, stay safe everyone, Stay home if you can. Wear a mask if you can't. And wash those hands.
We will get through this, together.
Alas, we have had to say good bye to our little greeter. Those who have had a dog in their lives know how they can burrow a hole into your heart. He gave us so much joy and laughter while he was with us.
Geoffrey always said he wasn't a REAL dog and while Marion"s and Inez's dogs tried to teach him how to bark like a dog he never quite got it. Still he was a good pug right to the end.
Fair winds little guy.
January 2021 will mark the 5 year anniversary of the official opening of Cedar House Quilting. Our intent in starting this little enterprise was to provide a service to local quilters. With that in mind we have endeavoured to keep prices as reasonable as possible despite gradually increasing costs. Our loyal customers have rewarded us with more business than we ever imagined. Thank You!
Alas, we've reached a point where it seems necessary to implement a modest increase for the services provided by Cedar House Quilting. The following schedule will go into effect on January 11, 2021:
Helen Maslowski is the owner and operator of Cedar House Quilting. She is ably assisted by her most charming partner Geoffrey. (Can you guess who wrote this?)
