Joy showed us this cute little tool at a retreat a couple of weeks ago and I was able locate the maker right here in Canada. There is a brief tutorial on their website at Snagmagic.com.
We have a busy fall schedule and we've updated our workshop schedule. Take a look on our "workshops" link

Everyone seems to be enjoying a day of sewing at the Bali Briefcase workshop today. This is our "classroom". It doubles as a living room and makes for an intimate and cozy experience.
Our fall workshop schedule has been posted on our website. Please check it out and get in touch if you have any questions or wish to register for one or more sessions.
Very pleased to announce that Brandy will be here in November and has offered to conduct a fibre art workshop. Further details are on our "workshops" page.
This is the view from our booth at the Gimli quilt show, on NOW. Come out and see us on this beautiful day.
Marion Olafson brought us this adorable pet bed. These would be good for a cat or small dog. Chewy is going to love it. She has offered to give a class on making these if there is interest. Let us know what you think.
Helen Maslowski is the owner and operator of Cedar House Quilting. She is ably assisted by her most charming partner Geoffrey. (Can you guess who wrote this?)
