There are a lot of shows coming up this year. As I find time I will post the ones we have info on here, but a better, more complete list can be found on the excellent Quilt Manitoba site.
While we were at the ACQ quilt show on the weekend, Chewy got to go to Camp Marion. These are before and after pictures. When we told him he was going there, he sat by the door for an hour waiting for us. When he came home, he was just zonked. It's a dog's life.
This is part of our booth at the Assiniboine Circle Quilters show on April 26-27. We were so busy we didn't get any photos from the show. But what a great show it was. So many talented quilters in this group.
Cedar House Quilting will be one of the vendors at Manitoba Prairie Quilters event on Saturday, May 4th. This is an annual exchange with North Star Quilters from North Dakota that is this year being hosted by MPQ.
And... because we are there, the Lockport Studio will be closed.
Looking forward to seeing all our MPQ friends and our ND visitors on Saturday!
This show has been held in August in past years but has been moved up to the beginning of June. We will be vendors at this show. You don't want to miss it.
While we are at it - we will be at Manitoba Prairie Quilter's International Guild Day on Saturday, May 4th. The Lockport studio will, accordingly, be closed.
Just a reminder that we be one of the vendors at this show. The Lockport studio will be closed from April 25-28 so that we can pack up the shop and attend this event.
We had a great time at the Little Britain Quilt Show last weekend. It was not only a fantastic display of talent but also a time to reconnect with friends and acquaintances after a long cold winter. There are lots of shows coming up this year. Check the Quilt Manitoba site for the best information. We will post info for the ones we are aware of.
This "delectable" piece is one of my quilts that was on display.
All set and ready to go ...
The hall AND church are brimming with gorgeous works of craftswomanship. It's worth the trip - Friday & Saturday (Apr 12-13). Geoffrey's favourite part is reading the stories behind the quilts.
Helen Maslowski is the owner and operator of Cedar House Quilting. She is ably assisted by her most charming partner Geoffrey. (Can you guess who wrote this?)
