Presencia Thread

The supply chain for this 100% cotton 3 ply thread from Spain has been disrrupted for a while. We are finally able to begin restocking. This is a 50 wt 500 m spool and even though our cost has gone up we are keeping the price in store at $9.99 per spool - at least for now. In addition to the 4 colours shown we have 4 others on back order.

Tweezers

A customer was recently asking if we had any tweezers with a curved end. We did not. Now we do.

These are high quality German steel. One is your typical tweezer where you squeeze it to hold on. The other works the opposite way, you squeeze it to open and it closes when you let go. We thought it might be interesting to try out.

Quilter Select Rulers

As often happens these rulers were highly recommended by some of our community and we have had a chance to bring in a small selection.

The significant feature of these is they are non-slip rulers.

Since I'm now an "x-pert" on the Mariners Compass technique a friend asked me to help her make a similar quilt. I have to say we were really pleased with the result.

I had to delay posting this until my friend presented it to her son who is an actual mariner.
