Testing the repaired long arm and everything was going swimmingly until a needle broke. No big deal ... usually. But this time part of the broken needle lodged in the hook mechanism and jammed the machine. To get it out we had to remove the hook assembly and that means resetting the timing. More testing required. Good thing there is a resident repair squad.
