At the last Quilt Reflections 2016 show I took the Design Freedom course with the remarkable Helen Fujiki. I've finally finished my project from that workshop.
The Lady Bugs? For the last two years my studio has been invaded by Asian Lady Beetles. They seem to love the crevices in the cedar siding for a winter home. When they awaken in the spring some of them go the wrong way and end up inside the studio. The Asian lady Beetles seemed like the perfect complement to Helen's Japanese influenced design.
